What is a HUD? A fantastic way to see at-a-glance information in Daylite!
The HUD (Heads-Up-Display) area is what you see when you look at the bottom right corner of the Contacts, Organizations, Groups, Projects, Opportunities, Tasks, or Appointments screen. For example, go to the Contacts screen and click on any Contact. At the bottom of the list of Contacts make sure you're clicked on the Contact button (if you're in the Projects screen, you'd click on the Project button at the bottom of the list of Projects, etc).
Now look at the bottom right of the screen: you'll see 2 built-in Heads-Up-Displays: Next Activity and Last Activity. For the Contact that you're currently clicked on, their Next Activity HUD shows their next Task and their next Appointment. Their Last Activity HUD shows their last Task, last Appointment, and last Note. This same area is where Blue Rock's custom HUDs will appear.
When reviewing the specifications for each HUD below, please note which screen(s) they will appear on. For instance, the Task Details (HUDTASKDETAILS) will appear on the Tasks screen only, whereas the Alternative to the built-in Next Activity (HUDNEXTACTIVITY) can be used for the Contacts, Organizations, Projects, Opportunities, and Groups screens.
HUDs are not printable; they are for onscreen viewing of information only. If you are looking to print data, please click here for reports and print layouts.
